Code of Conduct

The Code establishes standards to ensure that working conditions are safe, that workers are treated with dignity and respect and that business operations are environmentally responsible and conducted ethically and in compliance with laws and regulations.

The Code of Conduct is comprised of five sections listed below with a brief description of each section.

Labor – Addresses human rights of workers, compliance with labor laws, recruiting employees with high moral character, and providing a competitive wage and benefit package.

Health & Safety – Addresses the responsibility of Prism to continually monitor changing regulations, ongoing worker input, and update its training in the areas of:

  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Occupational Injury and Illness
  • Industrial Hygiene
  • Physically Demanding Work
  • Machine Safeguarding
  • Sanitation, Food and Housing

Environmental – Addresses Prism’s responsibility to protect the environment and natural resources while safeguarding the health and safety of the public in the following areas:

  • Environmental Permits and Reporting
  • Pollution Prevention and Resource Reduction
  • Hazardous Substances
  • Wastewater and Solid Waste
  • Air Emissions
  • Product Content Restrictions
